Ruta Nocturna Pequeña Celadilla 8ª Quedada BBe 2025

Se trata de una pequeña cumbre de 526m que se alza tras descender el cordal desde el Alto de Celadilla 697m hasta el collado de Mazuco 457m. A su derecha (E) fluye por el barranco el Zeladilla Erreka y por la izquierda (O) el Angostura Erreka.
La propia cumbre y alrededores fueron afectadas por el incendio forestal del 23-10-2022. Aunque el terreno se ve muy verde por la variada vegetación, habrá que esperar a que la repoblación de 4.35 ha con frondosas autóctonas y 5.65 ha con coníferas (Pinus Radiata) crezcan para ver recuperado el arbolado.
Corto y variado recorrido el que vamos a hacer al partir desde la Plaza San Severino. Por el bidegorri vamos hasta el cementerio de La Herrera y ascendemos 2.9 km/243m por las faldas de Mazuco al barrio de Angostura.
Por la pista general proseguimos al Collado Rigadas y ascendemos por los zigzags de Rioya tan solo 700m para meternos por una vieja pista que asciende y serpentea por la vertiente N del Rioya 678m y Somokurtzio 686m (1.8 km). Vamos a salir a la pista que desde Espaldaseca baja a La Brena.
Subimos por ella 300m para meternos a la derecha por nueva pista que avanza por la vertiente N de Espaldaseca 698m hasta las proximidades del Collado Trasmosomos 1.6 km/74m+. Tomamos la pista que viene desde el collado y bajamos por ella 600m hasta Pequeña Celadilla que tenemos de frente.
Nos ofrece vistas a Balmaseda y al Valle de Salcedo, buen entretenimiento con un bocata en la mano y una buena tertulia.
Descendemos a la pista de La Brena y nos dirigimos a Balmaseda.
